Ceramic Industry uses zircon silicate for glazes, frits and engobes whose role is opaquing. ANIVI proposes two alternatives, one for zircon flour with a particle size cut at 45 microns, and the other for opaquing with a cut at 4 microns.
A Ball Mill is used in both cases, which is alumina lined, grinding media will also be of alumina. From the Mill the product goes to a Dynamic Classifier in the case of the flour or to a last generation classifier in air circuit for the opaquing case, which allow to control the particle size without stopping the plant. In the case of the opaquing, the product is collected in a Bag Filter. The whole plant is provided with dust collection to keep the working environment clean.
With our plants, we can obtain a wide range of particle sizes, but for this product the most usual ones are from 45 microns for the flour and 5 microns for the opaquing, with an average particle under 1.5 microns.
