Super Centauro Plants

Ultrafine Products

The accumulated experience in this field continues to advise that systems based on Ball Mills are the most efficient and economical, and where products with a greater specific surface area are obtained, an aspect of great importance in various sectors.
The applications of the Super Centauro Plant is suitable for obtaining products of very high fineness. Fines between 3µ and 63 µ are obtained very efficiently and allow to work both abrasive and non-abrasive products.

Functioning

The Super Centauro plant grinds within a closed or open circuit, which basically comprises: ball mill, high-efficiency classifier, cyclone, fan and bag filter. The mill body can be lined internally with liner or abrasion resistant steel, or bodies of Silex or Alumina when iron contamination must be avoided.
Ultrafine Products

The air jet that carries the product from the mill reaches the classifier where fine and coarse classification is carried out, at the operator’s will. The fineness change is carried out remotely from the control panel, immediately and without the need to stop the plant.
The coarse are led back to the mill, while the fines remain suspended in the air jet until they are captured in the collecting cyclone or in the bag filter. The environment of the milling department is perfectly clean, since any loss of powder due to pressure, always lower than atmospheric, is avoided, both in the mill and in the transport and classification circuit. Partial air renewal takes place through a bag filter.

Value Proposals

Two independent drives

It allows to have great flexibility in working conditions and in the products to be obtained.

Nearly automatic system control

Only a small surveillance of the information available on the control panel is required.

Minimal maintenance

Automatic greases with their corresponding safety elements, so it requires minimal care.
